Welcome! The staff and I are delighted that you have chosen Highlands Junior High School. We are looking forward to a year in which all of our students will experience much success. In partnership with our parent population and greater community, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment which will enable all of our students to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and culturally.

At Highlands School we have very high expectations with regard to student behaviour and achievement. Our excellent and dedicated staff works collaboratively with each other, our students, and our parents to ensure that all live up to these expectations. Staff are determined to help students feel comfortable and show them that they care about them as individuals. Everyone at Highlands has the responsibility of showing respect for one another as well as oneself through both words and actions. We believe in the potential and ultimate success of each individual and strive to help all students believe in themselves and achieve their goals.
